Giannis – from the slums to become a successor of LeBron James
Giannis is an African-born boy living in the slums of Greece. He is now on the path of an NBA superstar.
A decade ago, Milwaukee Bucks fans saw defender Michael Redd walk into the legendary temple in brilliant form. The defender averaged 26.7 points in 11 seasons and is retained by an unprecedented contract value in the history of the Harris Bradley Center team, up to $ 91 million.
At his peak, Redd was in the All-Star 2004 roster, won the 2008 Beijing Olympic Gold Medal with the US team. He held the record for the most three points in a single half (8 successes) in the 2001-02 season. However, the record was broken by Klay Thompson in 2015. But Redd’s image in a Milwaukee shirt is being perfectly replaced by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
After 24 games this season, Giannis averaged 29.8 points per game, far exceeding the average score that once made Redd the legend of the Milwaukee Bucks.
